Starring as Montford’s horse “Sam,” Sancho is a 14-year-old Quarter Horse with experience in the TV and film industry. His acting credits include Painted Woman, Scent of Rain and Lightning, as well as Chickasaw Nation Production feature film Te Ata. Prior to his film career, Sancho spent much of his early life on the Drummond Ranch -home to the “Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond. In his spare time, Sancho enjoys bossing his owner around and snacking on dried apples.
